RESPONSABILIDAD

WikiOmni does not claim to guarantee validity or accuracy of information

WikiOmni is an open-content, globally-collaborative encyclopedia. It is an association of individuals and groups who voluntarily work in developing a common-access resource of knowledge available to anyone online. The endeavor is to provide a structure that allows anyone with an Internet connection to edit its content. WikiOmni makes no claim guaranteeing the validity or accuracy of information found here. None of WikiOmni’s content has necessarily been reviewed by anyone with the expertise required to provide a complete, accurate or reliable analysis of information herein.

That is not to say that accurate and usable information does not exist in WikiOmni. It does. Much or the content found in WikiOmni is correct and valuable. However, WikiOmni cannot guarantee the validity of the information found here. The content of any given article could have been changed recently. Unfortunately, articles can be vandalized or altered by those whose opinion does not correspond with the generally-accepted state of knowledge in any relevant field. Note that most other encyclopedias and reference works also have disclaimers.

No formal peer review

WikiOmni’s active community of editors use tools to monitor new and changing content. However, WikiOmni is not uniformly reviewed by peers or experts. Readers may correct errors in articles or engage in their own casual peer reviews, but there is no personal obligation or legal responsibility to do so. Thus all information read here is without any implied warranty of fitness for any purpose or use whatsoever. Even articles that have been vetted by informal peer review or featured article processes may later have been edited inappropriately, just prior to being viewed.

None of the contributors, sponsors, administrators or anyone else connected with WikiOmni in any way whatsoever can be responsible for the appearance of any inaccurate or libelous information or for anyone’s use of the information contained in or linked to or from these, or any other source’s web pages.

There is absolutely no assurance that any statement contained or cited in an article touching on medical matters is true, correct, precise, or up-to-date. The overwhelming majority of such articles are written, in part or in whole, by nonprofessionals. Even if a statement made about medicine is accurate, it may not apply to any specific person or symptom or symptoms experienced by any group or individual.

The medical information provided in WikiOmni is, at best, of a general nature and cannot substitute for the advice of a medical professional (for instance, a qualified doctor or physician, nurse, pharmacist, chemist, or other medical professional).
